How Do I?

Appointments

Routine appointments are booked at 10 minute intervals. If you feel you need a longer appointment than usual, please let the receptionist know and we will try to make provision for this.

We aim to see all our patients within 24 hours with any doctor or 48 hours with a named doctor.

Emergencies

Between 8.00 hrs and 18.30 hrs Monday to Friday emergency requests will be given prompt attention by the receptionists and the doctor will be informed.

If you require IMMEDIATE emergency medical attention at any time please dial 999 for an Ambulance.

Home Visits

When you request a home visit you may be asked for some information about your problem. This is to enable us to arrange the visits in order of priority.

Please telephone requests for home visits by 10:30a.m.

In the majority of cases, patients will be expected to attend the surgery. This enables medicine of a good standard to be practised promptly and efficiently. It is the doctor’s decision as to when a home visit is necessary.

Emergencies Outside Normal Hours

Please telephone 111

Teenagers

Doctors and nurses are always ready to talk to teenagers with any concerns. Any consultations will be conducted with the strictest confidentiality and information will not be shared with any other family members without the patients prior consent.

Register for the practice
